How to Use Eas-E-Buy, Guest Management
and the On-Line Quoting Features

People seldom spend even a single dollar, when they are confused. While the
the Home Systems industry is filled with wonderful products, Dealers often lose sales
because their Clients never learn of the wonderful Features and Benefits available to
them. And.... The Confused Mind NEVER
Spends Money! That's why we created Eas-E-Buy, to educate the Client as to what each
feature can do to Enhance their Lifestyle. AND..... It also helps to grow the size of the
sale!
Our Eas-E-Buy Home Systems Planning/Buyer's Guide contains hundreds of Features and
Benefits. However, each feature requires a variety of parts that the Dealer must quote.
Often the exact parts required to complete a quote can be confusing to the dealer. Our
Guest Management feature allows dealers to create an on-line quote from the "Wish
List" of features selected by the consumer.
In Guest Management, dealers can accept our parts list suggestion for each wish
list feature, or enter their own. Often, we provide a list of replacements for the parts
required.
What is Guest Management?
With the Guest Management feature, Dealers can "Educate" their Clients
while allowing them to create a "Wish List" of desires that can be quoted
on-line by the Dealer! A Home Systems Buyer's Guide if you will!
- Clients use a User ID and Password provided by the Dealer to view all products on the
site without the Client seeing pricing until the Dealer uses the Wish List to create an
on-line quote for them.
- All the Marketing, Product Research and Educational features available to the Dealer are
also available to their Clients without fear of the Client knowing Dealer pricing. And....
Dealers can control the Parts Markup, add Labor and Taxes as necessary for each Client and
item.
There are several ways for Consumers to
complete a "Wish List".
- Consumers can browse the web site and "ADD" desired features by pressing the
add button on any part.
- Consumers can be read any of our "WALKTHROUGHS" and add items to a "Wish
List:.
- Consumers can complete a "Wish List" from the Eas-E-Buy CD supplied by their
Dealer.
- Consumers can complete a "Wish List" from the On-Line Eas-E-Buy program.
Dealers can create an on-line account for any consumer and provide a User ID and
Password (that does not show dealer pricing). Using the dealer supplied account, consumers
can browse the site without ever seeing dealer pricing and without ever seeing another
dealers contact information. For all practical purpose, our web-site becomes the dealer's
web-site!
- Once the Dealer creates an on-line account for their Client, an E-mail is sent to the
Client informing them of their User ID and password and alerting them that they may now
visit the site to begin the features selection and education process.
- When the Consumer completes a "Wish List" by adding items to the shopping
cart, dealers can log in, go to Guest Management and create an on-line quote.
- Once the quote is completed, consumers can visit the quote on-line where they see quoted
prices and are free to further educate themselves about each item.
A variety of Walkthroughs are available (on our website) that takes the Client on a
journey through a typical home and Hyperlinks them to the products related to each Feature
mentioned. If a Client desires that feature, they simply click the "Add Button"
to add it to their "Wish List".
- Clients learn of the Wonderful Features available to them by reading the
"Walkthrough"! The more they Learn, the more they Spend! The Confused Mind Never
Spends Money! So....... Educate Them!
- Once the Client is finished shopping, their Wish List is sent to the dealer for
completion of a fast on-line Quote.
- Once a quote is completed, the Client may view it on-line where each quoted item is
hyperlinked to that product on the website for additional information and research.
The CD based version of Eas-E-Buy comes in two varieties, both of which are excellent
for mass marketing. Dealers are free to duplicate the CD and circulate it at will. To
increase the "Insertion Rate" dealers are encouraged to create attractive cover
graphics, place the CD in an impressive DVD jacket or copy the program onto Business Card
CD's. All of these services are available to dealers through us. Call for duplication
quotes.
The FREE version of Eas-E-Buy
- The Free version contains all the features of the customized version except that dealers
are given a "Dealer Number" to be placed on the CD label. When consumers
complete a "Wish List" they are asked to select a dealer to complete the quote.
The first choice in the selection screen asks the consumer to enter the number provided by
the Dealer. Once this number is entered, the "Wish List" is placed into that
Dealer's Guest Management box.
- Note that the free version will allow a consumer to search for other dealers to complete
the quote. If this is not desirable, the Dealer should purchase the "Customized
Version".
- The free version contains the SeT-NeT logo
- We must activate this feature for you before your dealership will appear in the list of
dealers who can complete a "Wish List" quote.
The Customized version of Eas-E-Buy
- This version contains all the features of the free version but bypasses the
"Search for a Dealer" step. When consumers complete the "Wish List" it
is placed directly into that dealers Guest Management box.
- The customized version also includes the dealer's logo (if available).
Activating your ability to use Eas-E-Buy
This service is provided free of charge to dealers who have an active purchase history
with us and/or who are starting a new dealership. We have committed a lot of time and
resources to the creation of this program and the patent process to protect our rights.
The result is a very powerful marketing tool for customers who purchase from us. As long
as dealers stay loyal to us, their ability to use Eas-E-buy is continued. Simply put, we
reserve the right to discontinue service of this feature in the event that a dealership
uses our resources in a harmful way to our business or product lines, or in the event that
their account falls out of terms.
How do I use Guest Management?
First of all this feature must be activated for you. There is no charge for this
service and we encourage you to use it. However we limit the use of this feature to
Dealers who actually purchase their products from us. We will go first though! We will
activate this feature for you even if you have not purchased from us yet. Simply call us
Toll Free at 1-888-773-8638 and we will be glad to set you up!
- To use this feature, log in using your Dealer Password. If Guest Management is activated
for your account, you will see a link near the top of the screen entitled "Guest
Management", Select this Link.
To Create a New Account for your Client, Click to

- Enter their contact information into each field. Be sure to use their correct E-mail
address.
- Create a User ID and Password for them and enter both.
- Select the Default Parts Markup and Tax rate for your Client.
- Select the "Update Constants Button" to save your changes.
- In the actual quote stage you can edit the selling price at will and overwrite the
markups if you desire.
- An Email will be sent to your Client informing them that they may visit the site and use
their password to complete a "Wish List".
Next, Your Client uses any of several methods to create a "Wish list"
of Desired Features and Benefits
- Ask your client to use the CD you provided, the on-line version or to complete a
walk-though
- A list of Walkthroughs are available on-line containing many scenarios, or you can
create your own.
- While reading through the features and benefits, each feature is hyperlinked to
products/applications mentioned so that the Client can further educate themselves.
- When clicking on a Hyperlink the Client is given the opportunity to "Add"
their desired features to a Wish List.
- If using a Walk-through or simply browsing the site, when the Client is finished
selecting items for their Wish List, they must press the "Request Quote Button"
in order to finalize their list.

You are now Ready to Do an On-Line Quote
- Once the Client finalizes their Wish List, you can log into Guest Management where you
will see a list of your quotes. Those that have already been Quoted will be marked as
"Quoted = Yes" (you can edit completed quotes).
- Look for the one from your Client (Marked "Quoted = No") then click on the
Button Marked, "View Quote Request"

- From this screen, enter any Quote Notes and then enter the Parts, labor and taxes as
necessary.
- Parts Markup Contstants was entered when you created the account for this Client, or you
may enter an absolute sale price here.
- When finished, click the "Save Quote Button".
- Contact your Client and advise them that a quote for their Wish List can be viewed
on-line, or you may print a copy for them.
Clients Viewing an On-line Quote
- Clients may return to the website to view their quote. On-line viewing allows them to
click on any item to provide additional information or for further research.
- When a Client returns to the website to view their quote, they must log in and then
select Guest Management to see their quote.
Doing a Quote without a Client Being Involved
- To create a quote without a Client being involved, simply create a sample account (dummy
account), log in as that user and complete, the Wish List.
- Then, log in as yourself (Dealer Log in) and complete the Quote.
- There is a change in the works that will make this process easier. Look for it in the
near future.
Substituting Parts
When doing a quote, we often suggest the Bill of Materials (BOM) for you. This is
done to simplify your selection process. However there are often a variety of available
choices. Many times there is a hyperlink to other choices that allows you to view other
choice for the parts and to replace our suggestions.
Adding Parts to your Shopping Cart
Of course we want to make it easy for you to order parts from us. Should a quote become
a sale, you can simply add any or all of the parts to your shopping cart very easily.
A Note about Cable
In the quote process, we suggest the typical length of cable needed. However, we only
sell cable in complete rolls of 500 or 1000 ft. Most cable is sold in 1000 ft Put ups.
When you add cable to your shopping cart, we will automatically increase the cable order
to a full roll.
Labor used in Quotes
While we can suggest the parts quantities to use, we do not offer any help in
predicting labor for each item. You can enter labor for each item as well as a labor for
the entire project yourself. We do offer a complete estimation database that comes loaded
with thousand of pre-assembled groups of parts for many features and benefits found in the
Home Systems industry. This program is called Eas-E-Bid.

Sales Reps Using this Service
- If you are a Sales Representative for one of our Manufacturers, you may also use this
feature to quote your Clients and Dealers. To do this, simply create an account for your
Dealer and use a zero markup constant for the Dealer or use the exact number you want to
quote instead of the default number provided in the field. Then all quotes will be at
Dealer Price.
- To provide Discounts to Dealers, use negative numbers in the Markup Constant or simply
type in the number you want to quote.
