Sales & Marketing Classes Our Classes include:
One thing is clear..... There is very little history in the sales of Home Automation and related subsystems in the home from which to plot a marketing strategy. This fact is both a blessing and a curse. Without a time tested marketing strategy there exist a degree of risk when undertaking a marketing campaign. But, the fact that there is not much history opens the door for the early adopters who are eager to capitalize on the fact that the two minute window of opportunity is still open! With little history from which to build, a "back to basics" approach is extremely important. Learn the first steps to take to begin the journey from one of the few pioneers in this industry. Tony Stewart became one of the industry's first integrators in 1990 with a system called the "AMP Smarthouse". In 1995 he started Automation University as a place where integrators could learn how to avoid the stumbling blocks he experienced while seeding the market as a pioneering installer. Since that date Automation University has conducted over 9000 student classroom days of classroom training for integrators from across the United States and many foreign countries. In 1996 Tony started a 4 year tour of duty as Director of the Home Automation Association which today is called "Tech Home" (a part of CES)! During this time, he traveled the United Stares lecturing the Home Builders of America on "Technology in the Home". Tony has designed home automation installations of 1.5 million dollars in a single home as well as Home Theater installations averaging $500k and one installation where 5 Theaters were installed in a single home. In 1996 Tony appeared in the HGTV cable TV series "Builder's Digest" where he demonstrated the features found in a typical Smart Home and introduced many of the innovations still in use today. Consumer
Sales - Speak the Buyers Language In many industries there are a variety of methods to sell. But none of them apply to an industry where the buyer understands so little about the technology. The Home Systems industry is filled with Hi-Technology advantages for the buyer. But that fact alone cause the buyer some stress. Learning to approach a buyer with an non threatening list of lifestyles advantages is an art that must be developed. Tony Stewart teaches proven communication skills that not only closes more sales, it also grows a small sale into a large sale. From sales to the average Joe, to sales to the Wealthy and Famous market, these techniques work! Being a technically competent to install an elaborate system is worthless if you never close a sale. And the more technical you are, the worse it can be. Speak "Techno Babble" and the buyer will often be intimidated. The result is often a "No Sale", a "Small Sale" or worse of all, a sale where the customer is not happy! This session may well be the most valuable training you will ever attend! Home Builder Sales
