Once
home automation and home theater was only for the wealthy & famous. While the big money
sales are still attractive, the good news is that the "Average Customer"
is now driving the home automation market. This course includes product
selection and installation for both existing and new homes. For way too
long the new construction market has dominated sales. With this course the
door opens much wider to include any home, new or existing!
Students learn to design and estimate using "open architecture" products.
Unlike proprietary systems open architecture systems allow a wide variety
of third party products which assures maximum flexibility and upgrades.
Teams of two will wire and terminate a complete system then attach their
laptop to their system for programming. No installation
class would be complete without learning how to wire and troubleshoot.
Each student will learn to run cable in existing homes making new
construction easy. Bring your own laptop, we'll furnish the drills! |
